Great. Hookahcompany Shipping Is Down For A Couple Of Days

ordered some goodies a few days ago (small phunnel bowl, and a layalina sampler pack):
first i couldnt get them to answer their phones for a day. now they said that their shipping computers went down and they cant ship anything out for a couple days until it is back up.

i know it is just my bad luck but still makes me a little mad.

Sorry about the inconvenience. Ever since we had a power surge last Friday, we've been having a little bit of difficulty getting our FedEx server back and going. Normally, we ship out domestic orders same day. Hang in there with us a little bit. We'll get your order out to you. As for the phone calls, we are available Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm Pacific Standard Time.

no worries just seems to be my bad luck. im pretty local to you guys so i know if everything was ok i would of got my order by now. just sucks i gotta wait till next week sad.gif

Well, to be honest, HC is usually good about shipping as well. But, computers are computers.
They are a good company and will likely make it up to you in some way...This isn't soemthing I KNOW will happen, but it's not uncommon when things mess up on a company's end. Good of you not to take it personally wink.gif

HC has always taken care of me when things go wrong. They went so far as too send me a free pair of tongs and some grape AA once. Very nice happy.gif Thats why they are still number one for me.

Yeah... I ordered my KM Amer last Friday and they said it'd be here today... looks like it's coming in tomorrow, though. To their credit, shipping is usually pretty good -- they just seem to be having some technical trouble at the time.

exactly why i am not holding this experience against them. computers are computers and they have gone down on all of us. it is just a downer to have to wait longer but i know it is not their fault. i will order from them again.

I just ordered something from HC on Sunday, expecting it to be shipped out today (monday), but now I see this thread. It would be nice if they at least warned us about potential delays. Edited by Glottis

I waited 2 weeks over the holiday season for my first hookah. I swear I must have checked that shipping status page at least 4 times a day sad.gif

i ordered 3/8 also... still nothing yet... im dying w/o hookah =*(
haha i had to do a quick order to MN simply cause their stuff only takes 1-2 days to get here. =)
so... tomorrow my lust will be satisfied

I was supposed to get mine last Friday, it came Saturday instead. One of the hoses I ordered was missing, as was the Al Amir sample. The Fusion tub was cracked too sad.gif

I wrote them an email and they've been a bit slow responding dry.gif

I'm of the opinion that life is just to damn short to worry about shit like this. I mean, if I order an orange and get an apple, that's one thing. But when the company in question comes out here in the open and says "sorry, we've been having some troubles the past few days", well, that's good enough for me, especially considering HC's otherwise stellar reputation. Shit happens, to all of us, at one time or another. I guess cymptom has a valid complaint, with his missing items and all. But for the rest of y'all, I just say be patient why don't you. There are loads of bigger and more important things on this planet to worry about without having to check your tracking info every 10 minutes. Jeeessshhhh...

if you would of read my posts above you would realized i said the same thing. i said shit happens and i wont hold this against them for future orders. But i also dont see a problem with posting updated status information in this thread.

I'm pretty sure that the reason Allia22 did that was because of excitement, not out of obligation. It's nice to feel like stuff is being accomplished, and we are mostly of the generation where we expect things immediately, so what can you do.

Oh, I'm not ripping on you guys or anything. I love you all! I'm just always surprised how much people FREAK OUT once their package of X gets into the delivery system. I'm an old guy (kinda), and I remember the days when you were first able to order stuff online, and it would take, oh, maybe a month before your package got processed and arrived at your door. We are all pretty lucky that we can get most of anything we order within a week, and usually within a couple of days for many vendors. No offense intended at all, you people just need to take a deep breath, relax, and let those idiots in the brown or blue uniforms do their jobs. biggrin.gif

im gonna take a bunch of deeeeeeep breaths.

called them today and my order wont ship out until the end of this week or early next week, they are that far behind.

they offered to refund my money if i wanted to. I would of went that route but mnh does not have the small phunnel bowl.
