Azygous
I ordered a hookah from hookah-shisha.com last week. They are located in the same city I live in, but unfortunately would not let me pick up the hookah (since they don't have a store front). This website was recommended to me by a friend and also some people here mentioned that their hookahs were a very good quality. I also liked the valve feature where you don't have to plug in your hose when you're not smoking. Anyway, when my hookah came there were several problems: 1) The packaging. Everything was in a box filled with the styrofoam popcorn (?). I would have liked to have had smaller boxes in the bigger box so I wouldn't have to search for all these little pieces hidden in the packaging. 2) The ash tray was dented. 3) The clay bowl was cracked. 5) The downstem was missing. 6) The stem would not fit into the base. Obviously, some of these are major problems. My gf and I immediately called hookah-shisha. The guy on the phone told us he'd drop the stuff off tomorrow so we wouldn't have to pay for shipping. He told me he'd be there between 7:00 to 7:30. He never showed, and I had a concert to go to. He called at 9 while I was at the concert saying he had gotten off work late and he'd be out of town this weekend but he'd be able to drop it off Sunday. Sunday went by, he never called. He called Monday afternoon saying he'd drop it off that evening. He never called and he never came. He called me Tuesday afternoon telling me he'd drop it off immediately. He came after I got home and brought a new tray and a down stem. Still, the stem would not fit into the base, even with several other grommets. He had to take the stem/base back to the warehouse and bring me another one the next day. I call him on Wednesday and he says he got into a carwreck leaving my house the day before. I drive to his house to pick up the new base/stem. Everything finally fits. Hookah-shisha also gave me an extra bag of wood charcoals, 3 extra 50g of Romman tobacco (which is imported by the same company, Hookah-shisha), and another clay bowl. Both clay bowls would not fit the top of the new stem. However, because I purchased the Engineer model I switched out the top of the new stem with the top of the old stem that the guy left at my place. The patterns are slightly different, but at least everything is air tight...for the most part. One of the hoses has trouble staying tightly in the stem. Also, the hookah still work better when one of the hoses is plugged...so the whole point of buying from hookah-shisha really wasn't satisfying. I could have spent less money and bought a hookah from a place with (hopefully) not as much quality control problems. Anyway, that was my experience. I did get free stuff, but if I hadn't lived in the same city it really would have been a much bigger mess and cost me a lot of shipping money. From what I understand, hookah-shisha.com reads these forums. I'm not asking for anything more, I just want this company to learn from their mistakes, and I want the members here to be aware of my experience with this company. I won't be ordering from hookah-shisha any more.

NERV
i was also under the impression that hookah-shisha had cleaned up their act, when i ordered form them myself and a few others had problems but i had heard the company was going thru a change at the time, 3 months later everyone seemed to be happy with em again. i havent ordered from them again yet simply because they havent had anytihng i needed, but if they dropped the ball again i may reconsider ordering form them again, especially since while they fixed most of my issues, i never did get the metal bowl i was supposed to get. but they didnt have my pay shipping
Mathazar
Too bad for you man, my experience with them was much better. Everything worked like a charm. Of course, I ordered from them several months ago before they were going thru changes in the system. Dude, I hate to rain on your parade, but you should have just ordered all your stuff online. If you had experienced any problems with your hookah, you could have simply sent everything back at their expense for an exchange or a refund. I had some problems with their tobacco, and they told me that if I send it back and they find the tobacco to be a bad batch, then they'll exchange/refund it for me. Also, I had a couple of other unused boxes of tobacco that I didn't like and they said they'd refund me if I returned them. I understand why you didn't order online, but if you had, I think you would have had a lot less problems and things would have gotten solved more quickly. Of course, I order everything Overnight Delivery, so obviously if you had taken that route you'd of had all your stuff within a much shorter period of time
