jerjer72
Right now I only have a bag of the finger coals because I ran out of my golden coals. (I only had 2 rolls) Scince I cannot get the finger coals to light I do not know how they compare to the golden coals. They are Al Ajdad. I have read reviews on each in the product review section but cannot really decide which to buy. I can either get 3 bags of the Al Ajdads or 2 boxes of 40mm golden coals. I read that with finger coals you need to ash them often and it gets annoying. I know when I used the quicklights I never had to ash them once. I just eventually threw them under the tap and they "dissapeared". As not being experienced with hookah for long I do not know the difference between the two types. I just want to make sure that I don't buy the wrong ones. I didn't mind the quicklights. They were convienient and gave thick smoke. I like the wood smell of the finger ones when you light them (Or try to in my case) Smells interesting. I don't mind the smell of the quicklights. I need help deciding which are better to get. I am very noobish when it comes to coals scince I have only tried the ones my hookah came with so far. I want to buy some today so that's why I am asking this rather than trying out for myself cuz I can't get those finger ones to light with a lighter..and I am waiting for my friend to wake up so we can go uptown and get a burner. Once I get one..(If I can find one) I will be able to know how the finger ones are. Then I am going to try double apple flavor for the first time. I have only tried grape..it was kind of gross but I got used to it and started to like it although it was strong and had an aftertaste. Then I tried sweet melon and it was disgusting. I dont know if it was that it was mixed with a bit of grape that caused the gross taste but it was so unsmokeable. Double Apple smells so delicious! As soon as I smelt it I loaded up a bowl.. and I can't even smoke it till I go uptown. I hope it tastes better than the grape and melon.. smells waaaaayyy better so it should taste good. People keep raving about how good it is so I am trying it.

Good to have something for a quickie but I prefer the finder coals and my $10 hotplate from a local drug store. What brand tobacco? The brands of tobacco are Romman and Al Waha. I have some 50g packs but I want to get some more larger ones and some coals while I am at it. I just picked up a portable cooking range so now I can heat those coals up. Just have to wait till a suitable time as my parents are downstairs and they might smell the smoke and think it is other things..like one time they made a huge deal about the smell. I am legal age but they don't allow smoking indoors in their house and that's where I am living at the momment. Have you tried Romman Cocktail, Double Apple, and Orange? I was thinking of getting larger packs of those cuz I have 50g ones. Also I was going to get larger packs of Al Waha Guava, Kiwi, and Banana Split. I also have 50g packs of those. They all smell good. The cocktail smells awesome. I think I will also be getting a few packs of finger coals scince I have my hotplate now and can light them in my room. For the quicklights I lit them in the garage and then took them to my room so the finger ones might be easier to light even though they take longer. I might pick up a pack of After Nine also but I have a large pack of romman mint and the al waha banana split so I have my chocolate and mint right there..not sure if I should get the after nine or not. All the packs I have now smell good so I am hoping they taste as good as they smell cuz I want to place my order today and I don't have time to try them all before that. I didn't know fires could start this easily and I was being careful but apparently not careful enough..*glares at bag of finger coals* lol
