Whodat1004
I usually just mix it all evenly. How about you find out and let us know which is best?
jordanneff
Well, the 2 times I mixed shishas I basically took about 1/2 a bowl of each flavor, put them on foil and mixed them like a tossed salad so they were completely mixed together, even the juices, and then I just packed it in the bowl and it was good to go. I got a pretty even flavor of both throughout.
Erica
Yes, I think it matters. If I am doing a mint mix, and I don't want the mint to overpower everything else I will put it on the bottom of the bowl....I mostly mix the whole bowl if there is more than one flavor in it.Meh.. djbomberto
put it in a zippy and shake the living hell out off it and spread even
zachslusser
I always mix it all up with my fingers in some type of dish and then let it sit for about 10 mins. I dont it this way quite frequently and it works well. I have never layered it.
JoeLipinski
I usually fill the bowl half with one and half with the other of whatever ratio you are using, then I dump it out onto the lit of a waha container... I have been mixing tangiers and waha a lot lately, then I do like other said... mix it like a tossed salad. Then just repack the bowl.
rez
seems like the way to go is just mix it all together then pack a normal bowl
cymptom
Sometimes I put the stronger flavor on the bottom, but the problem with that is that once the top layer starts to lose it's flavor, all you've got left is the stronger flavor on the bottom. Recently I've been thinking that it's just better to mix it all up. If one flavor is too strong, break it up into smaller pieces if you have to and use less of it. camelflage
QUOTE (rez @ Mar 14 2007, 06:34 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>seems like the way to go is just mix it all together then pack a normal bowlwell it depends; what kind of flavor arrangement are you going for? any simple combination of a few flavors will usually work well just mixing it all together once you've got your flavor ratio right. you can also 'pocket' your shisha flavors around the bowl like pie slices , and then move the coals to control how much of each flavor you are getting. this just requires you remember where you put the flavors. beyond that, sometimes we would get people asking us if we could layer it so the flavors changed dramatically throughout the session. to accomplish that you have to layer the shisha from last flavor to first (bottom to top) keeping in mind what type of coals you are using and how the heat will spread. it is difficult, but you can seriously have a smoke go from say strawberry to orange to coffee fairly clean. of course when you layer you also have to pay attention to the cut and wetness of the shisha, since wetter flavors will bleed down into other layers and a thinner cut means the shisha will heat and burn through quicker. Scheetz
Pretty much what camelflage said covers it. Make it in pie slices (which I think is a pointless idea)Even mixing (best way, just mix together on a plate/napkin/bowl what ever)Layering technique(not a fan of this either, as the flavors last for such a short time before they meld to the next, especially if you have more than 2 flavors layered). hmpitags2006
I just mix the crap out of it and then sprinkle it into the bowl

And as I said before I just mixed them all together evenly and especially made sure all the juices mixed too. Regardless I think any way you mix them as long as you like both flavors you'll be a happy camper ps: w00t, 100th post!
