Best Strawberry Not Including Starbuzz?

Recommended Posts

I have tried AF, AW, Layalina, Havana, Al Amir, and Starbuzz. Honestly, none to me represents what I would call a true strawberry. The only one that is even decent is Starbuzz, IMHO, but it still tastes more like a candy strawberry than a fresh fruit.

Nobody seems to get strawberry right. But think about it: This is something you smoke. A tobacco that is vaporized and being sensed by the olfactory. It amazes me as to how many people expect perfect flavor duplication from something that burns and isn't even tasted the same way as actual food. NO shisha out there, from any brand, tastes exactly like the advertised fruit they represent. Smell what I'm steppin' in?

I've smoked Nahkla, AF, SB, and AW, and found AF to be the best (IMNSHO). They all seem to go bad, though, and smell somewhat overripe after a month or so.

...and Bubble, I've found AF Cappuccino gives a very accurate Cappuccino taste. For fruits, though, I agree. Watermelon is the strangest. I've never found watermelon flavored anything (tobacco, candy, drink) to taste remotely like the fruit. I think they just made that one up out of thin air.

+1 to Mr Bubble for sure smile.gif

AF Strawberry tastes like coconuts!
Al waha Strawberry was disappointing (HOWEVER it could be that i had old & dry being in the UK)
Layalina Strawberry is not strawberry tasting... nice to smoke however.
Nahkla Strawberry - used to be a firm favourite of mine.

Taste is too personal! One's man's meat ect.

Thanks fols, ya, I've tried Nakhla,AA, and AF and not been real impressed by any of them but I need a strawberry in the mix. Will probably go with AF since im not carryingAW or Nakhla and I need a mid priced menu strawberry. May get the Buzzz for the upper tier....

I carry all Starbuzz in my lounge. Went through thoughts of others, but in the end you can't beat the quality of SB. The cost difference for you will certainly be made up for with repeat customers coming back because you carry only the best tasting stuff. In any event, I really wouldn't tier your stuff based on brand, as most of your customers will not have a clue what the difference is between AA, AW, AF, or anything else you throw at them. We almost went with such a structure in our lounge...it would have really been a bad idea looking back on it.

Blue: I appriciate the input, But due to a new NC law about ot go into effect, I may have to restructure slightly as a hookah shop with munchies and beer...so the greater the variety to sell the better, and if you can't try it, you aren't going to buy it. Gotta love the government protecting me from myself eh?

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned tangiers strawberry, I found his to be the closest strawberry I've had (the only one I've enjoyed for that matter), though I've never had starbuzz. Still a bit of the candy-ish side, but not overly so, you can still get a touch of that fresh fruit sensation with it.
