Scalliwag
In this story http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/artic...4-2004Jul9.html a CIA official testified before a senate committee that Plame recommended her husband and even sent a memo. Is that how it really happened or was she asked about her husband and his credentials and what she thought? She testified yesterday that she did not make that recommendation. So somebody lied and somebody should go to jail. No more of this faulty memory bullshit. If your memory is faulty you need to state in testimony that you are not positive but you think this is the way it went down. So either Plame or everyone that testified that she did recommend sending her husband need to go to jail. I don't think she is stupid and would unequivocally state something like that under oath if there was a memo out there to prove she had indeed recommended him.The reason this is important is because all of her critics used that to attack her credibility. So now she has put it under oath. They need to bring the official back in, tell him to show the memo and any evidence to support the story and go from there. Somebody lied and as we know from the Clinton impeachment that lying under oath should not be tolerated regardless of the topic even if it is not directly related to the case even.
