Johnny_D
So after the scare & lack of clarification in regard to washable hoses I've been trying to make my own!Went down to B&Q for a replacement gas canister for the blowtorch and was just wanding down the isles when i spied some hose type material! And wouldn't you just know it... they had some flexible bendy plastic clear material. So I brought 2 meters of it (Total of £2.58/$5.25) cut open an old hose that has pritty red handles and moded that bad boy!Best sunday afternoon's work i ever done!!!!Smokes brilliant. Easy todo. And washable Well worth the effort.JD

Allia22
Woohoo, I think I'll do that with the hoses that came with my hookah. Beautiful red metallic painted handles, it's just that a pull tastes like a mixture of plastic and anise. Curse you, double apple!!! *shakes fist*
sambookamax
I love my homemade hose!I even have one that is just the tubing, no handles. I use that one when I smoke alone...SOOOOOO Easy to wash out!!!! I wash it after every use, takes a few seconds!

poopooshaboo
Yeah pics would be great. Also, how flexible are these hoses? I've heard that they're pretty stiff, make it really easy to knock the hookah over.
Ocrap
A long time ago i bought a tubing from Home Depot. It was really thick. I must have knocked my hookah at least five times after a week of using it. I eventually decided to buy a new hookah
ghostofdavid
They have two kinds. FDA Food grade tubing and not. I bought the FDA grade, though I am not completely sure if it matters.
oggie505#2
i dunno how people get rusted mya hoses, I cut one open that was a year old, had washed it tons of times, no rust in it, but I use distilled water to wash them clean, so that could help. One day I will make a plastic hose.Johnny, you think Focus will have some of the plastic hoses?

It would be like a super-flexi hose. But I just have not had time to search for it.JD

I think you can get some smaller gauge ones than we use, at like a tractor/farm supply place or check your local hardware stores.

poopooshaboo
Better make a hose cover, a hose like that without one would be ugly as sin. See if you can find a supplier stateside!
