ghostofdavid
Depending on the state you live in, you can hunt on private property with no license and go unpenalized. Edited March 20, 2007 by ghostofdavid

I still get to hunt small game, but I can't get big game tags. Guess I will be doing a lot of duck and goose hunting instead. Good thing I got an Elk, nice buck and antelope last year. LuxOR541
here in Oregon we don't have to turn in any successful/unseccessful reports for deer/elk, etc. They require you to bring in a tooth for bear, and all cougar must be checked in at an ODFW officeI've often thought about a coyote/jackrabbit trip to Nevada because of the no license needed for predators/small game. Jeepman775
I love jackrabbit hunting. The ground squirrels are fun as hell too.

ghostofdavid
Very rarely do we ever have cougars around here. Just the occasional urban legend of one. Coyotes are considered vermin in Indiana and I believe are open season year round because of it.
Jeepman775
That would be fun. I love coyote hunting as well. Cougars are semi rare around here too.
