gillyd
Hi. Today my friend Tracy and I stumbled upon a Turkish cafe in Manchester, England, complete with real hookahs at every table. We were fascinated. The atmosphere didnt feel like tobacco smoke - just sort of sugary? Is it the same as cigarette smoking from a health perspective? And what will happen when the no - smoking ban comes in, in England? Presumably it will no longer be allowed?
metalhead209
well health wise i have heard both sides of the argument. ie shisha is less harmful and some think its just as harmful... so its a debated issue.i think it definatly taste better then cigarettes and it is water filtered so that does cut down on carcinogeons. also the tabacco realy isnt combusting its more of baking. id say if you dont smoke cigarettes cause the health risks i dont know if hookahs the thing for you. As there will be certain by laws in England that will allow certain places to still allow smoking. Other wise cigar shops would go out of business as well as the hookah lounges. They will just have certain regulations to follow, but I am sure they will be around.
