mtbsolo
OK so a close friend has been following some of the posts on here about using natural charcoal for bbq if youre out of hookah coals, and went out and bought some of these Coconut Shell coals meant for use in a BBQ. I may be no expert, but these dont look natural to me. It says they are made from pulverized coconut shell charcoal and 100% biodegradable and renewable, no mineral coal content, no coal tar, but they quicklite??? These spark to lite just like qlite hookah coals. Naturally im concerned for the health of my friend and would like to know wut some of the experts on here would have to say about these. BTW the ash they produce is darkish grey in color. A broken piece around the same size as a 33mm qlite lasts about the same amount of time. Scheetz
I would never use BBQ coals on my hookah. The amount of CO they produce will really mess you up, and by that I mean can kill you.I know people on here say to use natural coals from stores but I just stick with what is recommended with hookahs. Either nour/natural fingers or 3 Kings Quicklights/Japs. Read the ingredients on it and see if the 3kings box or whatever you were using before has it listed as well and match them up. Again though, I just wouldnt use them.
