Victim026
*Mindless Rant On*So I live in San Antonio, TX and Frequent(5 Days a week) a Hookah Bar here in San Antonio. I easily spend $700-$900 or so a month there and give them nothing but good business and recomendations whenever I'm talking to someone who's never been. Well tonite that all changed, I've recently been going and spending a few hours there because my girlfriends working there now and her car has been having issues so I've been giving her rides. So I'm there with a friend tonite and We'd been there for oh say 5 hours or so and my friend was getting tired so she went to pay. I went with her since we were on the same tab($35+ tab between the two of us tonite) so I could pay as well since I was gonna leave in 30 minutes or so. I walk away from my table for 2 minutes and come back and theres a Reserved sign on the table like they thought I was leaving. I went to my GF who was working and was like yeah I'm not leaving yet so don't put the sign on it. She then proceeds to tell me that the owner is kicking me out because Ive been there too long and he needs the table for other customers. Now bear in mind this owner has been nothing but nice to me and generally takes great care of me. I don't know what the fuck his problem is but if he feels like turning away his loyal repeat customers then this is a great way to go about it. So just for future record please please please avoid "Shisha Cafe" in San Antonio, I know you won't ever see me there again."*Mindless Rant Off* Edited March 23, 2007 by Victim026

Might as well open up your own lounge or something I've thought about trying to open my own lounge. However trying to juggle school and a business like that would be a total bitch. But definetly after school is over it has the potential to grow into something more then just a dream.

Victim026
Eh don't worry the Money is definetly going to go towards a new car, I've already decided that. The only reason I spend so much there is because I enjoy it. I love the people, I love the atmosphere, and I'll be damned if they didn't have some of the best bowls of shisha I've ever had. I didn't mind spending a bunch of cash there for those very reasonsl. However as I've said before, this show of obvious disregard for a regular and loyal customer is more then enough to stop me from going there.*The car in question will be a turboed Acura RSX lol.... hookahmike
Did you point out to the owner what an a$$ he was and make sure he realizes just how much he has lost not only from you but from every you will be talking to?I'm strong on the loyalty and patronage type stuff so this would tick me off to no end. If you haven't, you should make sure he realizes how stupid he is On the positive side, you now have 700+ x 12 = 8400+$ to spend (or save a bunch (for that dream or something else) if you are smart and spend the rest on GOOD SHISHA ) a year ! sambookamax
no offense, please understand I am looking at this "from the owners" point of view......but, am I the only one missing the fact that this is a $35 tab for 5 hours? Or that he was going to "sit" at the table and wait for his gf to leave!?

Erica
Well, the owner should have walked up to you, and said can you either buy another bowl, or rap things up. Not just put a “reserved” sign on your table. That’s just jacked up.
shisha fan
if i were the owner i would give you a private table if you`d spend that kind of money.
ghostofdavid
Yea, think about it. You spent around 700 bucks a month. That is probably half that guys rent for a month. I'd kick people OUT of a booth to give you a seat. What a douche!
LilTank13
Agreed, spending that kind of money should provide you with a decent standing with ownership. I mean if it were a bar, or something along those lines, you would get VIP treatment, ya know? I think it is especially jacked up that he didn't tell you personally. We frequent the hookah bar around here, drop maybe 200-250 a month, and have never had a problem with staying more than 3-4 hrs. Shit, the first time we went, we stayed 5 1/2. The service was great, everyone friendly. I will say, if this ever happened to me, I would stop going. I would also inform them I am not coming. Shit, at almost a g a month gone out of sales, I'd miss you!
