They have to custom make them, and it takes a little bit for the glass blower to make them.

Ok, I just got my bowl and scalli mod today, and so far I´ve tried to get it going for about 3.5 hours, and about 250 g tobacco. I´ve had about four problems so far:

1. Cant get through any air. The tobacco is getting stuck just under the mod and prevents any air to get through-
2. No taste, no smoke. Does not matter what kind of holes or coals I use.
3. Lots of smoke, lots of coal taste. Mainly with layalina.
4. Ok taste, no smoke. With smileys.


What am I doing wrong?

Ok well do you put the mod on then put shisha in? thats how you do it first of all second of all you dont need alot. How much coal do you use. I use 1 layer of foil and 2 rings around the outside od the bowl(above to tobacco) and then use like 3 1/2 inch peices of natural coals spaced around the bowl andi never get coal taste.

Well, you really summed everything up there. I do the exact same thing.
It might´ve been that I used too much tobacco though, a couple of millimeters below the edge. I cant believe everyone getting supersmoke on the first pull!

Don´t anyone else have the problem of molasses getting sucked in between the mod and bowl, preventing any airflow?

It's happened to me with the "real" scalli mod and my phunnel with some starbuzz..I wasn't quite sure how to fix it though..Maybe drain some juice or something or perhaps, like on the glass mod, move the air ducts a bit higher so the juice can't get sucked in..

Not sure, but it was very annoying
