shisha
So i just finished my first bowl of tangiers, it was smoking awsome the whole time and i didnt have to much trouble with it at all. i put off trying it cause it seemed to dificult to get it to smoke right, i was amazed at the quality of the smoke session from begining to end with this stuff!! definentaly my new favorite brand. I used my small phunell just paked it up real good and lit it up..i really recomend tangiers if you have not tried it yet.

metalhead209
tangiers is a tricky little thing to master...its like you spend 5 min fidgiting with everything to get it to smoke good for 10 min then the process starts over again.i cant get alot of smoke out of it because it requires almost no heat at all to burn but the taste is nice(kashmeire peach) when its burning right for that breif period
ASUSEAN1
how are people having so much trouble with tangiers? I dont think I have ever had a bad session with it. Once I get a new shipment of tangiers in I am going to take pictures of my setup with detailed intructions
Allia22
Well, I ignored the still-lingering bbq smell and mixed F-line apple with SB cherry (mostly apple). I feel like running down the street screaming gibberish, it's hard to type, and I'm getting billowing clouds. Tastes pretty good. My first try, too I feel proud! Scheetz
You dont need to wait for the smell to leave. I dont think it will really. I just leave my Tang out for about 5-8 hours and its good to go. Allia, ummm Grats¿¿¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¿¿

Zerodynamic
I don't understand why it so hard for you guys to smoke... hell, Sonthert himself says that he doesn't acclimate.I get perfect results everytime! Very flavorful, long thick clouds.... I'm not going to say its as easy or forgiving as AW/AF, but it isn't rocket science.
Barnzy02
I usually let it sit out for like a half hour before i start setting up and while im cleaning my hookah. Tangiers definitely has a strong potent smell that isn't always reminiscent of the flavor. You can smell the tobacco, it's not as sweet and fruity a smell as any other tobacco i've smoked. It is also really tempermental to how much heat you put on it. i usually start by breaking a quik lite into either 4 quarters or 3 halves depending. Put on extra heat to get it started then pull off a lil bit once it gets going, then adjust as needed and rotate the coals as you go. I used the large funnel and a tea-lite mod. And i've been gettin some of the best sessions i've had in recent memory.

Im guessing It's one of those "slow and steady" smokes that needs some patience and some Coal TLC? Glad to see people doin good with it. Kinda discourages new guys like myself when people have trouble with it, but I guess that's the fun of it.

While I don't find Tangiers hard to smoke, I will admit that the heat management and how I pack the bowl are VERY different that what I was used to doing. In a nutshell, get some basic experience first, then move up to the more expensive brands.
