yashman19
Yeah, I was sort of wondering what the hookah is doing to my lungs and my stamina, seeing as how I smoke 5-6 times per week, even though taking deep hits seems to help stretch your lungs out and thus help, but here at school we have racquetball courts and I've been playing 5 times a week and haven't noticed any side effects from smoking so much. Just curious, what type of gym activities will you be doing? Will you be lifting to gain muscle mass, or toning? Or are you just trying to loose some weight? I myself am already a big guy at 6'3", 240 pounds, so I'm just sticking to cardio for now with racquetball. Maybe after I loose a little more weight I wanna start toning. Whatever you do, stick with it Wyteboy!
ZooJohnnyZETA
i havent used the DDR mat in like 6 months, i wanna get back into the DDR tho, i was in awesome shape when i was using that, i cud go for hours on heavy without getting tired, id oubt i could even complete one heavy session right now
Woah! What strange timing! I just played DDR for the first time last week and I've been hooked ever since. I've been to the arcade twice since then (spending about $10 a time) and I'm slowly getting better. I finally completed "Butterfly" on Lite the last time I went which I couldnt even dream of doing earlier in the week. Its taking lots of practice but I think I'm more addicted to DDR than I have ever been to anything in my life. I finally decided that I absolutely must buy a PS2, DDRMax2 and Extreme, and a Level Six brand Ignition pad. Eventually I want to get a Cobalt Flux pad but it's going to take a while to save up the $300 + $40 shipping it costs to buy one. So in the meantime a $40 Level Six pad will do just fine. I hear they work a lot better and are more durable than the $100 Red Octane Ignition pads so they seem like the best pad to buy for the time being. Fortunately today was my first day working a new job so I finally have the money coming in to buy all this stuff. Man...between chipping in on rent and utilities, the hookah hobby, and my recent addiction to DDR life is starting to get expensive But yah, if you ever wanna talk about DDR or have any tips on things I should learn feel free to message me. NERV
i got 2 metal pads they are much betetr than the soft pads, they seem to break more often but they are easy to fix, just that the constant stomping loosens connections, ive never had a problem with the metal mat i cudnt fix, and the soft mats are worthless for heavy, a year ago i was able to beat Max 300 on heavy, never got a B or an A on it but i passed it with a C
NERV
oh and my main tip would be once you have the rythm down move up to difficulty that you cant do, if you get too set into light itll be even harder to progress, i didnt know that and it took me like 2 months to master the 1/16 beat cuz i was so used to the 1/4 and 1/
jiZZles
Hey great to hear. I'm also going to the gym now but for a different reason. In 25 days i'll be leaving for boot camp (Navy) so I have to start doing some last minute conditioning. Hookah sure got to my lungs though lol
