web250
This stuff is intense.I did a bowl of Kashmir Peach in a small phunnel w/ my QT and 2 GoldensThe smoke was incredibly flavorful, it was unique, and full bodied. But the smoke was incredibly thick. It gave me a feeling I've never had with tobacco, this kind of "anchor dropping in my lungs" feeling once I inhaled to a certain point. It was not pleasurable. We ditched the bowl after about ten minutes. Also, the niccotine buzz was substantial.I'm gonna try some of the other flavors eventually and hope for better results, but overall this first session was very dissapointing, not because Tangiers is bad tobacco, but because it is so strong. ASUSEAN1
kasmir peach is def. one of the stronger tangiers flavors. You also build a tolerance. I think you will find the other flavors to be a breeze if you started out with kashmir peach as the first. Also if they all seem to strong try mixing in some layalina with the tangiers

ShishaFred
Depends what you smoke outside of hookah. If you smoke cigarettes and cigars , Tangiers is not supposed to be strong , same thing if you smoke hookah regularly. If it is too strong and actually burns your lungs , it means the tobacco is burning. It might also be about your resistance. I may not feel a thing while my friends will cough out a lung , i'll just cough out my lung at a higher temperature. I'd say if the second flavour is ''too strong'' try putting less coals. Tangiers once described his product as having many stages , the sweet spot only being hit in the middle of the session , while the start was more rough and harsh. If you want to go thru the first few minutes , either have a Brave Compaing or breathe some air with the smoke to make it more tolerable.Hope that helped! Shifty
Truely, I just had my first Tangiers experience, and it was totally unexpected from what i had planned in my head. Watermelon,So the initial smell was that of watermelon, but when i really took a deep whiff of the stuff, it kind of smelled, burnt to me. Almost like that burnt cigarette smell in a smoke shop smell. I packed it in the bowl (short shallow wide mouthed) and added some coals, I feel that I should not have used 2 because pretty much immediately I had a harsh burning in the back of my throat. The smoke was very thick, but not smooth at all, almost hot in a way. I couldn't draw in more than half a lung full due to the burn feel. It tasted ok, but then again I would get the "burny" flavor. Definitely a tobacco that will take a few times to get it right. Its a good thing that I have a fair amount of it. Also I want to see if the phunnel with scalli mod makes a difference. Also have some Japanese QL's coming soon. Hopefully I will be able to dial in the goodness I keep reading about.
Zerodynamic
I love my tangiers. I don't find it so hard to smoke, but do have to pace yourself. Like said before, you gotta mix it first to build a tolerance, then smoke it alone.

hash7788
try tangiers guava and rootbeer (not mixed). they taste so good and holy crap i get buzzed out of my mind. me and ASUsean went out one time when it was 50 degrees at night to smoke....we had two hookahs. one with guava and the other with rootbeer. i kept hitting it and didn't pace myself. i started shivering and i could barely walk back to my place across the street. like i was stumbling. i sat in the shower with hot water running down for 30 minutes and i was still shaking...it was awsome. hahahah. but i won't smoke like that again without pacing myself. ioannisds
I've tried quite a few flavors of Tangiers, and Kashmir Peach is one of my favorites. Just the other night I tried chocolate for the first time, and it was GREAT. Really good chocolatey flavor. To be honest, I never went completely anal like some folks getting the Tangiers experience just right. I just pack a bowl (a little tougher to do than others because the pieces are so big, I just break them up a little), throw on a 3 Kings, and I'm done. If it gets a little harsh, I move the coal around, but that rarely happens.

steve07
Tangiers peach is one of my favorites I don't inhale because I enjoy the shisha for the flavor not the buzz. Remember that you can get a nicotene buzz without inhaling.
