I actually don't like my brass piece because it tarnishes way too easily and leaves a funky taste in the hookah if I don't clean it religiously. I'd clean it regardless, but the process of cleaning is difficult and time consuming, I'd rather be able to rinse it out, run a cleaning rod through it, repeat a few times, and call it good. With my hookah, I have to soak it for hours, rinse and scrub what I can with the brush and cleaning rod, scrub it out with soap, rinse, soak some more, and dry it out with a cleaning rod.

I really love my Mya Bambino because it's so easy to clean, and it smokes as well as my larger hookah. While I could probably smoke it forever and never clean it, I'm a bit anal about cleaning stuff that I smoke out of, so, it works great for me.
