I've been plannin on gettin a wii sometime in the summer, was just wondering if anyone on the forum here had one or knew anyone with one. what do you think ? I don't have the time or the money that can justify buying a ps3 or 360 and i figure the wii is the best party console. And most times im playing anything its with 3-4 people. I was a huge skeptic of the wii at first but have slowly come around.

there are several posts about the WII in general chit chat. I got a wii, if you want a ds or wii, etc. I suggest either scrolling through the pages of the general chit chat or searching "games" and going through the 2-3 pages and look that way

I dont have one but I've played some quite a few times. They're pretty fun, I would definately say the best system for playing in a group.

Thanks, after i posted this i did another search, nothing was showing up in a search for just 'wii.'

I pretty much made up my mind that i'm gettin a wii. I had all 3 systems (xbox,ps2, and GC) and have sold all except my GC. Mario Party 8 pretty much sold me on getting a wii, but there's a lot of games that look promising.

My friends absolutely love the Warioware game for it. Then they bought this Rayman thing involving horrible things with these ugly bunnies... it's hilarious, I can't throw my cow straight for the life of me, it always lands on some unfortunate bunny XD

i fudgin love my wii! as some of the members know i stood in line outside target for 14 hours in the cold 2 get one. while i havent been playin as much cuz wow has sucked my social life away, the system is most def worth it and lived up to the hype. the virtual console titles r gettin better and better as well. starfox 64 just came out this week which im def gonna purchase later 2nite. i highly recommend gettin a wii. i also gotta go pick up myself a copy of the godfather i hear nothin but good things about it! I Love my Wii... andI'm glad that I got it and it's good for party games and some other games, esp. downloading old games and playing game cube games... but I'm gonna get a 360 whenever I can just because my main game base of FPS online (HALO, BITCHES) is only 360... and guitar hero just came out for 360 too internet from consoles is ruled by 360 right now and it's nice because it can do things between your computer and the console

I think everyone needs a super nintendo...I have a xbox, ps2, and a 360 all right next to me... but what I just did for a few hours was drink a 20 pack, smoke some cigars, and play super nintendo. ITS so fuckin awesome

Funny story about the Wii. My sister was at some rich guy's house ( Both college, and he was in bermuda). His roomates threw a party,cause he wasnt due back for another 5 days. They popped in the baseball game, and are having alot of fun. My sis points to the outfield like the great bambino, and SWING! She sure hit a long shot. The controller was sticking into the screen of the dudes 60" widescreen...

yeah, I bought the Godfather game yesterday and have been hooked on it. its really damn good, its like GTA in the 40's with a ladder skill system where you can upgrade your firearm accuracy, speed, attack damage, etc.. Its great.

Actually, there was a recall on the cord that attach the controller to your wrist for incidents like this. Lots of people lost their TVs! I laughed.

Hell, I get smacked in the face with the cord when playing Warioware, that sucks

Man, I know you're a cool guy... but calling my sister a "fucking retard" isn't something I'm going to stand to here. I've only known about my 22 year old sister for 4 years ( When my parents got divorced, my dad told me I had a half sister... Long story), I don't tolerate people talking about my family. You drink a bit, and decide to play a video game cause swinging the remote sounds fun( cause your drunk). You swing, and let go. It happens. You can see hitting people or objects? What about when you're 8 feet infront of a 60" T.V.? It happens, and I dont think calling someone a "fucking retard" for a mistake they made when they were drunk is right. Especially since we're all family here on the H-F. Anyway, I may be losing my sense of humor cause tomorrow im most likely explaining my hookah to my not-so-leniant- mother, so I'm a bit tense.
