wyteboy
i have a washable hose but am still nervous on using water to clean it...I have smoked 5-6 times now out of this hose...is it time to use a strong kitchen sink and run some water through it? I have no real place to hang it to dry.... Can I run water through the stem to clean it? or with this cause rust on the inside? Thanks!
NERV
if anything, you clean the stem to prevent rust, the longer it sits the more time it has to oxidate and whatnot, assuming your stem is stainless steel you should never have to worry about rust. as for the hose, whether it's washable or not its gotta get cleaned somehow or else it will become a rancid medley of every bowl uve ever smoked, dry cleaning methods can only go so far, washing is the most thorough method
cypress
I believe it its a Mya hose then you will not have to worry about rust inside the hose. You can use water or formula 420. I use lemmon juice and have no problems with usiing it. To dry it you can just take it outside and sling it over your head if its a good quality hose. The force of spinning it will pull the liquid out of the hose. You can hang it over the shower rod to let it dry thouroughly. In either case you should wait a day before you smoke the next bowl. What you might want to do is buy a few hoses to keep on hand. That way you can wash less often and never miss a day of smoking. You wash less often because you keep 1 hose for citrus flavors, 1 for floral flavors, 1 for licorice flavors, 1 for any other. The flovors wont be mixing as much. IE going from a double apple to a cola flavor.
