What Do You Smoke For?

Recommended Posts

I actually feel dissapointed when i dont get buzzed from my hookah.Maybe im not fully getting the amazing taste some of you claim to get huh.gif ... but if i did get that awesome taste i dont see the harm in a nice buzzy buzz with it.I smoke mainly Al-Waha and that stuff packs a buzz in almost all packets.I do think i waste alot of shisha cuz sometimes when i smoke by myself i get so light headed i have to rest for long periods and the coal just burns away laugh.gif

so what yall smoking 4?

Smoke for both. If I havent smoked in a few days I usually pack a bowl of washed Havana. When smoking regularly I usually go for the stronger stuff like Romman or tangiers.

you know romman is jus repackaged al waha.. true story

Lol yeah, I've had Romman (thank god it was free) and it's nothing special, though the double apple did seem more flavorful than AW but it could've just been me. But yeah, I rarely get a buzz from AW. I like a bit of buzz but too much makes me sick. I mainly smoke just to relax and for the flavor, buzz doesn't really matter to me.

Flavor. I smoke to relax or for something to do while honging out with friends.

I don't get a buzz from Al-Waha, even when smoking hard for over an hour by myself.

I smoke for both.

If I want realllllllllly powerful ass kicking stuff, Tangiers F-Line is the way to go. Hella flavor+caffiene+nicotine=me bouncing off the walls after 20 minutes of smoking this stuff! tongue.gif

I smoke for the experience! I like the ritual of packing the tobacco, then lighting the charcoal, and pulling, until I get the charcoal glowing. I like to put a cassette of Arabian music in the stereo, for some additional "ambiance". Then I kick back, and just "chill", while I watch the bubbles in the reservoir, make the ice "dance" and "tinkle". No other smoking experience combines the full use of the senses: Touch- when you handle the plastic spoon, and gently pack the sticky, wet tobacco into the ceramic, using your tactile response, to make sure that the tobacco is not packed too tightly. Then you strike the lighter, and gently draw it back and forth across the edge of the charcoal, until the red glow of the charcoal starts to show. Then you feel the draw of your diaphragm and rib cage as you pull the air through the hose, and the oxygen feeds the glow of the charcoal. Then your ears hear the gentle sizzle of the moist tobacco burning against the charcoal. Then the taste of the marvelous mixture of tobacco, molasses and fruit jam. The experience envelops your entire essence, as your heartbeat accelerates slowly. Your muscles relax, and you just "chill" as the smoke mellows your soul.

Touch, taste, sight, sound, aroma. All five senses experience the magic and mysticism of the hookah experience. Your mind just goes along for the ride. Edited by cemab4y
